Guro Eric says (6/09)
A Day with my kids……
On 31 May 2009, I and my three kids went on Hiking at Shing Mun Country Park , it’s about 8km walk to complete the loop. We wake up a little bit late due to late night sleep and undecided weather condition. Finally we board the mini bus before 12:00 noon and just about a perfect cloudy day for hiking.
Eriz my eldest daughter was 17, Josh my eldest son was 13, and Nenel my youngest son was 9, at first I am not sure if my youngest boy can complete the loop of 8 km on partly hilly terrain. As we started the walk they were fascinated by the beauty of the scenery of the half filled Shing mun reservoir, the century old Eucalyptus trees, the cold water of the mountain streams, the reddish-brown soil of the trail and the mountain breeze in the air.
We stopped on some picnic sites along the way intermittently to enjoy the beauty of the nature, share some jokes and old stories and share a bite of chocolates, and of course share a pose for pictures for a lifetime memories. Half way along the trail, there are cows and just about near the main Dam some monkeys can be seen from the wild and it’s about 5 o’clock when we finally reach the point where we started and we concluded it a day.
From this short period of time together, I have shared with them my passion and love of nature and I can see from them that I have aroused their interest as well as to move their own inherited passion and love of nature to grow and hoping that when the right time comes they will share the same passion and love of natures to their kids as well as to protect and respect the mother nature.
Let us all protect our nature for the future generation and enjoy them………

All About SK 1 (written by Steven)
My dream guitar –the SK 1
I believed that every guitarist has a dream, to have his own model ,so the SK1 was born
I played guitar for about 13 years, nearly everyday, it becomes a part of me. And it is important in my music
I have many many guitars and I always changing guitars and buying a new one when I found a new sounding it is hard to find a guitar that can fulfill all you want so I try to think the custom guitar but how can I really got my sound? its really a difficult question how can it fix all the situations that I want? In live, in studio and more?
One day, I found out the answer, that is ,I need to design it all! The shapes, woods pickups everything! Because after this it became a unique guitar in the world, truly 100% custom made! Although I don’t really sure about the result but I want to try...I tried to draw it, i only takes 10 mins and the shape was born, may be it lives in my brain for years, I can feel that’s it! It’s unbelievable! My first design guitar! My god!
About the shape ,it was combined by two S shape in both sides and joined with a V...And the headstock was cut off like a S shape too ,so there are 3 S shape totally and I choose a mahogany in body back and aflame maple in top because I want a warm and solid sounding , a flame maple in neck and rosewood fretboard, in my early design i Choose ebony, but it may result in hard bright sounding, so I use rosewood finally
About the pickups , I use a set of Duncan pickups , a jazz model in the neck, a little 59 in the middle ,and a duckburker after that, and a JB model in the bridge , so I got 4 pickups on my guitar, it’s interesting! I think you can’t find it in other guitars, I built a unique wiring too, I use a 3 way toggle and 2 mini swith on it , the 3 way toggle control the neck and bridge pickups and the 2 mini on/off switch control the little 59 and duckbucker in the middle, its simply a Gibson les paul style with 2 pickups in the middle for you to add on, changing the color of a les paul , the middle pickup is always off, you can add it to any moment, and the neck and bridge humbucker can change to single coil sound just by pull off the volume and tone button, so I can got 36 combinations in one guitar, amazing! But anyway thanks to my best friend Ko Young, the master builder of the guitar who made my dream comes true, I will use it a my lately recordings its nice to share it to you all thanks!
