Guro Eric says: Just Look at your back……..
Last week during the Chung Yeung Festival, I managed to have some time off and visit my family in the Philippines and spent quality time with them.
On my way home from Manila, I took the bus for a three hour ride, and from where I was seated I can hear the voice of the old man talking to a young lady who have just finished her job interview on that day, they are both sharing stories and they are seated on my back. I did not pay much attention on what they are talking because it is none of my business and I wanted to grab a nap during the whole journey.
As I started to ascend my sleep and trying to ignore the voice the old man when suddenly the words he shared to the young lady seems I heard very clear and flash a thought and awakens me…
The old man said “..and in times that you think that you are in your lowest point of your life, in times of frustrations, disappointments and failures don’t be sad and dismay, just look at your back and you will find that there are more people who are less fortunate and suffer more disappointments, more failures and frustrations than you, in that way you will be relief and you will feel that you are still luckier than the others. And from there you will start to build your confidence and courage to move on.”
Which is true and I believed on this words…
Sometimes it is worth listening to something which is none of your business…
Cooloo: That's words od wisdom.
