There is nothing to do with somebody's name for "Dom"is "dominant chord" for short. "For Dom" was written by me in 2006.Yet, I have stored it electronically recently.
"Despite the fact that dominant chord is one of my favourite types of chord because of the sweetness from the flat seventh interval(or that major second?well, not to mention that so-called devilish tritone interval), the need of exercises on working on the cycling of fifths becomes the movtivation of the writing of this little piece.
Though sometimes dominant chords are associated with 12-bar blues progression, I don't want this to sound too bluesy so I try my best to avoid those minor thirds. With tonality of mixolydian sounds on my head,"For Dom" was completed in one note at a time fashion then."
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING
